Full Description

The solicitation number that will be used once a solicitation is posted has been revised in paragraph 3 below. Please search for 70LGLY18QSSB00010 on or around September 9, 2017 to view the solicitation. This is NOT a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is it a guarantee that a proposal will be released. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers, Glynco, GA (FLETC)) intends to solicit proposals in support of the relocation of one (1) modular building identified as Building 760 as a 100% small business set-aside. The building is approximately 28' x 70' in size, constructed of wood framing with metal siding. The building is to be moved from its current location on the FLETC campus and reconstructed at its proposed new location on the campus. Additional details and drawings will be provided in the solicitation. It is anticipated that a RFP will be issued approximately 5 days after release of this announcement. A site visit is expected to be held approximately 7 days after release of the solicitation. The estimated Proposal Due Date is 08 December 2017. All dates listed herein are subject to change, but will be stated in the solicitation. The estimated construction range of magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Offerors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to submission of proposals. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov, and is available to contractors without charge. Contractors can search for the procurement approximately 5 days after release of this pre-solicitation synopsis by using the following solicitation number: 70LGLY18QSSB00010. It is the offerors responsibility to check FedBizOpps as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. In order to accomplish this mission, FLETC proposes to award one contract. Proposals shall include sufficient detailed information to allow complete evaluation. Note: Response Date referenced under General Information DOES NOT refer to the Proposal Due Date.
