Remanufacture of B-52 Ballscrew Assembly

The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, is seeking a contractor for the remanufacture of B-52 Ballscrew Assemblies. This requirements-type, firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated for a five-year term, consisting of a three-year basic period and a two-year option. The scope of work includes the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, re-assembly, testing, and finishing of part numbers 7900832 and 7900831 to return them to a like-new condition. Specific line items cover standard remanufacture as well as remanufacture involving ballscrew or ballnut replacements. The contractor must adhere to strict technical standards, including Technical Manual 15A4-85-3 and various Air Force Technical Orders, while following MIL-STD-130 for asset marking and NIST SP 800 series standards for cybersecurity. Deliveries are scheduled for the DLA Distribution Depot in Oklahoma, with specific quantities and intervals defined for both the basic and option periods. Linear Motion LLC is identified as an approved source, and other interested vendors must submit a Source Approval Request package to be qualified. The solicitation is expected to be issued around October 1, 2026, with a response deadline of November 1, 2026.
