Removal and Recycling/Disposal of Hazardous Waste, Oils and Fluids

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive hazardous waste removal, transportation, recycling, and disposal services under a one-year time and expense contract with an estimated value of $55,000. The scope encompasses the annual handling of 30,000 gallons of used oil, 7,700 gallons of used antifreeze, 10,000 pounds of used oil and gasoline filters, along with minor quantities of brake fluid, non-empty aerosol cans, and less than 110 gallons each of regulated medical waste and sharps. Work must be performed at multiple OCTA facilities across Orange County, including Garden Grove, Anaheim, Irvine, and Santa Ana, with pickups required at least every 90 days and within five business days of request.
