COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION

Complete removal of the existing roof and install a new architectural asphalt shingle roof at the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Jackson, KY per the attached Statement of Work.

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 1305M326Q0191 is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the complete removal of the existing roof and install a new architectural asphalt shingle roof in Jackson, KY.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 238160. The small business size standard is $19.0M.

This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

CLIN 0001 – Services, non-personal, to provide all supervision, labor, tools, materials and equipment (unless otherwise provided herein) necessary for the complete removal of the existing roof and the provision and installation of a new architectural roof at the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Jackson, KY, in accordance with the Statement of Work.

Period of Performance: 60 Days from Notice to Proceed but sooner is desired.

This is a mission critical requirement. Work must begin within five (5) business days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. “Work” includes ordering parts and equipment not already in stock and necessary to perform the work. The purchase order award date is an estimate. If there is a significant delay in awarding this contract, an updated quote may be requested.
