Remove/Replace Utility Pole-Encroachment Permit 725-6US-1083

Pacific Bell Telephone Company dba AT&T California plans to remove and replace two utility poles, #4650295E and #4650296E, situated within the California Department of Transportation right of way along State Route 150 at Post Mile 3.84 near Rameli Ranch Road in the City of Ventura. The project includes the installation of a ground bed adjacent to pole #4651227E, requiring the excavation of a 10-square-foot area on the shoulder to bury a #6 AWG bare copper ground wire connecting to two newly installed 5/8-inch diameter, 8-foot copper grounding rods. These rods will be pneumatically driven into the ground with a minimum of 42 inches of cover, and the excavation for the ground bed will not exceed 55 inches in depth, 12 inches in width, or 10 feet in length. Temporary traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure safety during construction, and no existing public utilities will be relocated or disturbed. No additional right-of-way acquisition is required, and all work will remain within the existing Caltrans right of way.
