Renew Annual Operations and Maintenance of Kastle Systems LLC Physical Security System - Sole Source

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has a requirement to renew the operation and maintenance of the Kastle Systems LLC physical security system in its Washington, DC location. The renewal is being processed directly with Kastle Systems LLC under their GSA Federal Supply Schedule via a Limited Sources Justification, as Kastle Systems LLC is sole proprietor of the system and does not have authorized resellers. The requirement has approximately $28,812.00 of open market operations and maintenance services that will be included in the order placed against Kastle System LLC's GSA Schedule. This action is issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) whereby the Contracting Officer has determined only one source capable of providing operations and maintenance on the proprietary system. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for offers and, as such, no solicitation is available. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the response date and time identified in this synopsis. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source delivery order described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of CFTC.
