Renovate Admin Facility

This is a Sources Sought Notice only for the purposes of market research. This is not a request for proposals and no contract shall be awarded. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Hood, Texas is conducting market research in order to determine the availability and capability of companies for a firm fixed price requirement contract for facility maintenance a base + two option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a small business size standard of $15,000,000. The project magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow up information request. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.0001(a)(3)(i), in order to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency need exists, the Government will consider all Sources Sought (SS) responses received, particularly those received from small businesses. Responses to this SS permits the contracting officer, in accordance with FAR 19.203(c), to consider an acquisition for small business socioeconomic concerns (e.g., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) programs) and to consider a small business set-aside (see 19.502-2(b)). Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories, are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements at fair market prices. The work consists of the following: Repairing architectural features to the interior and/or exterior of buildings located on Fort Hood to include replacement of flooring, ceiling tiles, doors, door frames, painting of facilities, and cleaning of exterior facades at any location that is owned by the Fort Hood Reservation. Work will be provided under a multiple firm-fixed-price task orders issued as provided in the parent requirement contract. Each task order may involve a variety of construction trades. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and ancillary items necessary to complete each project from conception to completion. A solicitation is not available; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. At this time Fort Hood is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 10:00 am CST on Wednesday April 13, 2016. Responses shall be e-mailed to Madge Lewis at madge.a.lewis2.civ@mail.mil.
