Renovate Bldg. 892

Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to Renovate Building 892 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5M. The acquisition is anticipated to be a competitive 100% Small Business set aside. This effort is anticipated to be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Process acquisition. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. The intent of this project is to renovate the interior of building 892, which is approximately 4,000sf, and build a brand new 8,300sf building, 892B, to include furniture installation, directly behind it. The contractor will construct this project, in accordance with the Statement of work and design dated 23 January 2019. Period of Performance is for 364 days after notice to proceed. Work will include removal of existing exterior, interior, and structural components, finishes, ceilings, walls, windows, doors, associated hardware and the installation of upgraded components as shown on the construction documents. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. Proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Proposal) exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 25 July 2019.
