The effort requires a comprehensive renovation encompassing all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary to bring the facility into compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria and Air Force Instructions, with a primary focus on the installation of a dedicated HVAC system, a backup generator sized exclusively for the EOC, communication equipment, and lighting for adjacent restrooms. The work includes constructing a reinforced concrete pad with vibration isolation for the condensing unit, producing professionally sealed design documents, load calculations, and as-built drawings through licensed design professionals, as well as integrating all systems to meet operational and security standards.
