42d Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will be issuing a solicitation for the renovation of building 800, Headquarters, Air University Maxwell AFB, Al. Work consists of, but not limited to, the following: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of the HVAC System, AU Headquarters, Bldg 800, in accordance with the specifications and applicable drawings. Project No: PNQS-03-9478. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before or after the closing date. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of information or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this pre-solicitation notice. This requirement is an 8(a) set-aside and will be competed among certified 8(a) companies within a 200-mile radius of Maxwell AFB, AL. Award of this contract will be made utilizing competitive best value source selection procedures in which competing offerors past performance history will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101.
