Repair and Enhance Perimeter Fence Security

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors in a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract to Install/Repair Perimeter Security Fence at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. ADDITIONALLY, THIS NOTICE DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT OR MULTIPLE CONTRACTS; AND, IT DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR ANY BID AND/OR PROPOSAL PREPARATION COSTS. Proposed work to be performed under the aforementioned contact is anticipated to be within the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: 238990, Fence installation. The purpose of this project is to upgrade, repair and enhance the perimeter security of Eielson AFB. This scope of work will include the installation of Five each 24 foot Swing Arm Barriers (Delta Scientific TT218E) at various locations on base, Two each, 24 foot sliding gates near railroad entrance to base, Three each 14 foot vehicle swing arm barriers at front gate, Front arresting cable along one side of perimeter fence near front gate, Boulders near front gate area, Fabrication and installation of vehicle arresting cable along front fence, Install removable bollard at front gate, install a marquee sign above main gate facing incoming traffic, install permanent mounted vehicle tire shredder on exiting lane near front gate, repair existing fence along entrance to base and install 3 strand barbed wire on top, clear-cut and bush hog along base perimeter near western rail road entrance, install fence and barbed wire top and repair fence line on Richardson near "South gate" and install 3 strand barbed wire. This work must meet requirements of UFC 4-022-03, Security, Fences and Gates for Facilities and UFC 4-022-02. This includes all parts, pieces, labor, material, design and workmanship. In responding to this Sources Sought Notification, please indicate your interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, primary subcontractor and indicate if your business is a SBA Certified Section 8(a) Program Participant, SBA Certified Historically Underutilized Zone (HUB Zone) Firm, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Small Business, Large Business or a combination of these.
