Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) to SEABOTIX, INC., 2877 Historic Decatur Rd., STE 100, San Diego, CA 92106. The proposed contract action is to provide the fiber optic umbilical assemblies needed to convert to copper umbilical assemblies and must be fully compatible with the Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) repairs and upgrade. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
