REQUEST FOR QUOTES DESCRIPTION This project is for removing what remains of a failed epoxy flooring installation in a residential bathroom, preparation for, and the coating of the floor with new epoxy.All projects are subject to Environmental Surveying, which shall be conducted outside thisScope of Work and shall be completed before work commences on all properties. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:1. Remove existing failed epoxy coating as far as necessary, and any compromisedmortar as required to prepare for new epoxy coating.2. Inspect flooring and wall areas affected prior to final installation of epoxy flooring.Remove and replace components as needed that could compromise the integrity of thefinal application.3. Remove existing floor drain assemblies and replace with Zurn FD-2322 or equivalent.Complete floor drain box as per the attached detail below titled “Heavy Duty Floor DrainOption”. One box is needed for each of the two floor drains.4. Ensure all mortar is pitched as specified below towards floor drains to ensure nostanding water will remain after applying the epoxy coating. All mortar to be appliedper the manufacturer’s instructions.5. After consulting with the Point of Contact above for color selection, apply epoxyfloor as per manufacturer’s instructions, and attached Epoxy Resin FlooringReference Standard.6.
