PROJECT TITLE: THIS IS A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENT FOR REPAIR BUILDING 3002 FUEL CELL HANGAR.PROJECT LOCATION: BUILDING 3002, 113TH WING, JOINT BASE ANDREWS, MARYLAND THE 113TH WING HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TO BRING A FACILITY TO CURRENT STANDARDS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL PLANT, LABOR, TRANSPORTATION, MATERIALS, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES, AND SUPERVISION NECESSARY FOR THE PROJECT. THE WORK INCLUDES INSTALLING AN INTERIOR FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AND RECONFIGURING THE INTERIOR WITH REINFORCED CONCRETE FOUNDATION, A NEW FLOOR SLAB, AND STEEL-FRAMED, REINFORCED MASONRY WALLS. THE PROJECT ALSO INVOLVES REPAIRING THE ROOF AND UTILITIES AS NEEDED. EXTERIOR WORK CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTING ACCESS PAVEMENTS AND PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR UTILITIES, FIRE PROTECTION, AND COMMUNICATIONS.
