NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. AFLCMC/HNCK intends to award a sole source contract for the repairs of Communication Modules and Handheld Monitors, to Thales Defense & Security, Inc., 22605 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871. This proposed acquisition will include the following: Sixty (60) Communication Modules, P/N: 4101095-501, NSN: 6350ND022482J and Twenty-five (25) Handheld Monitors, P/N: 4101096-501, NSN: 6350ND022644J. Required Delivery is 12 Aug 2015. The Government intends to make an award by May 2015. Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is the only known source that meets the Government's requirement for the required items due to their technical expertise, testing and qualifications.
