This is for a firm fixed price 5 year Requirements contract with a basic year ordering period and 4 each out year ordering periods for the repair of the following item: NSN: 4820-00-449-2840UC; NOUN: Dual Linear Directional Control Valve; P/N: 22560-6; BEST ESTIMATED QUANTITY (BEQ): 27 each for the basic year and 12 each for each out year ordering period. FUNC: The valves are mechanically actuated by either the pilot's or copilot's brake pedals, and supply metered brake pressure to the brake and anti-skid control manifolds, which, in turn, control the amount of working pressure available to the brakes for rudder control. LENGTH: 9.00"; WIDTH: 6.00"; HEIGHT: 4.00"; WEIGHT 4 lbs; MATL: steel/aluminum. DLVY: 60 days after receipt of funded order or reparable assets, whichever is later. Non-Commercial: The linear directional control valve was designed, qualified, and manufactured exclusively for military application and is C-5 unique. The part is not interchangeable with any part found on any other military or commercial aircraft. The commercial acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 are not applicable to this requirement.
