NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to solicit a sole source contract with Sikorsky for the repair of two rotary rudder blades, part number 70101-31000-046 and NSN 7R1615011589678. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302 because the government does not possess the necessary data rights to seek alternative sources. The acquisition will follow the procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15, and it is not designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. While the government anticipates a single offer from Sikorsky, other responsible sources may submit capability statements or quotations within 45 days of the synopsis to determine if a competitive repair is feasible. Any firm not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request, though the repair process will not be delayed for such approvals. All communications and proposals must be handled electronically via NECO or through the designated point of contact, Anna Kiessling.
