Repair Sinkhole and Failed Culvert on I-15 Near Old Highway 395

Caltrans District 11 in San Diego is initiating an emergency contract, solicitation number 11-3B068, to address a damaged sinkhole and failed culvert on I-15 near the Old Highway 395 Overcrossing, Bridge No. 57-0869. The primary objective of this project is to prevent further deterioration of the busy roadway by backfilling voids beneath the shoulder, removing and replacing the failed culvert section, and repairing the damaged shoulder.
