NOTICE TO OFFEROR; FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS RFP EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE RFP CLOSING DATE. The 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed price contract to provide all plant, labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary for the construction in connection with Project NKAK 11-1007 Repair/Upgrade Garden Dormitories, Bldgs 724 through 732 and 735. The firm is required to provide all work described in the drawings and specifications. To include, provide whole house renovations in ten dormitory buildings which house 8 occupants each for a total of 80 occupant dormitroy rooms. Replace existing doors, frames and hardware. Replace all wall, ceiling and floor finishes. Replacement of water heaters, piping, insulation, plumbing fixtures, valves et cetra. Replace HVAC system. Replacement of all interior and exterior lighting devices. Replacement of electrical wiring, as necessary, replacement of switches, outlets, telephone, cable, satellite, and other electrical devices. Upgrade/replace plumbing, electrical system. Replace all cabinetry. The majority of work cannot be limited to a single trade. Project also includes all site work, tree plantings, and sidewalk repairs and to perform all drainage work and new sidewalks. The firm is responsible for locating all utilities in the area of construction, and for accommodating or modifying them, as required for the construction of this project. The firm is responsible for removal of existing features associated with this project. Construction project magnitude is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 Total Performance Period for Construction is 380 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed This procurement is being issued as a 100% HUBZone set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. This office proposes to post an RFP# FA4460-11-R-0006 to the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about 06 May 2011. Once the solicitation is issued, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
