AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of repairing and upgrading Enhanced Digital Electronic Control Units (EDECUs), with Triumph identified as the original equipment manufacturer and authorization from them required for any repair or upgrade work. The effort focuses on specific NSNs and part numbers associated with EDECU models, including current and upgraded variants, all of which are covered under the same repair designation. The purpose is solely to assess market capability and does not constitute a solicitation or binding obligation to award a contract. Respondents must provide company details including size, NAICS code, certification status under small business programs such as 8(a), HUBZone, woman-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned status, and any prior government usage of the product. Responses must include contact information and be submitted by July 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EDT to the designated email with the specified subject line. Any future acquisition will require a separate formal response to a solicitation posted on SAM.gov, and submission of a response to this notice does not guarantee inclusion on any future offeror list or entitle the respondent to receive the solicitation.
