Replace DFAC FoH Kitchen Equipment

Under solicitation FA2517-19-Q-A043, the Department of Defense is seeking a contractor to provide all plant, labor, travel, material, tools, and supervision necessary to replace the front of house kitchen equipment at the Aragon Dining Facility located at Peterson AFB, Colorado. This firm-fixed price contract, categorized under NAICS 333318 and designated as a 100 percent small business set-aside, requires the delivery and installation of various items including hand washing sinks, sandwich and salad prep refrigerators, refrigerated equipment stands, pass-thru heated cabinets, and food serving tables. The contractor is also responsible for the disposal of all old equipment, with a total performance period of 12 weeks from the date of award. The procurement process utilized the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation method. Significant modifications were made via amendments to the original scope, including the removal of the electric combi oven and specific updates to the serving tables. These updates corrected the table length to 167 inches, changed the power supply to three phase, added cutouts for a flat griddle and fill faucet sink, and included full serve sneeze guard glass fronts and electrical code requirements for under-table circuit breakers. Additionally, the description for the worktop freezer was corrected to a refrigerated equipment stand.
