Full Description

RRM 07.16.2025 - Concern over limit for TO to contractor. Confirmed, however new option year begins 1 APR 2026 therefore viable for 2nd QTR award. This project has been created to support the EV requirement that found deficiencies in the two fuel tanks for the existing generator. The fuel tanks were to be replaced on a project developed from CORE. Once the estimated price tag was received for replacing the tanks with one single one, a quote from REFCON service (IDIQ generator contractor) for the direct replacement of the diesel generator to natural gas. Thus eliminating the need for fuel tanks and the inspection requirement that comes with the tanks. PWO has made the decision to move this project on the MEP for FY26 on 7/3/2025. This will not require site approval as this is replace in kind with an existing generator. Quote from the IDIQ contractor is in the project folder.
