Replace roofing on the Counseling Building at the Angell JCC

The USDA - Forest Service WO-AQM Job Corps Support Branch has identified the need of a service contractor to replace the roof on the Counseling Building on the Center. The work is to done at the Angell Job Corp Center, Yachats, OR, 97498 The Contractor shall furnish all the necessary supervision, management, personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), under FAR Part 13. The RFQ will result in a single firm fixed-price award from the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. This requirement will be set aside for Total Small Business The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238160. The size standard is $15.0. This requirement is set aside to Small Businesses as authorized by FAR 19.502-2 (b). In accordance with FSAR 4G13.106-2 additional preference may be given to potential vendors or suppliers if they are 8(a) or other small disadvantaged businesses, even if the resulting pricing may be higher than the lowest quote received. All vendors ARE ENCOURAGED to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The specifications WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD ROM, and will only be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website by April 10, 2017.
