Replace Visitor Center Roof at Fort Scott National Historic Site THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Midwest Region Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation to replace the roof of the Visitor's Center at Fort Scott National Historic Site. The project is located in Fort Scott, KS, which is 90 miles south of Kansas City along U.S. Highway 69 at the Fort Scott National Historic Site. Work includes: Installing a new roof on the Visitor Center, HS-8 including but not limited to: 1. Removal and disposal of existing cedar shingles and miscellaneous flashing. 2. Temporary removal, salvage and reinstallation of existing lightning protection system. 3. Selective replacement of deteriorated board roof sheathing/furring. 4. Installation of new treated cedar shake shingles and galvanized metal flashing. 5. Installation of a roof vent system. 6. Selective fascia replacement. 7. Install an ice dam adhesive product along the eaves. 8. Removal, reinstallation and repair of gutters and downspouts. This procurement is 100% Small Business set-aside and is open to all responsible Small Business sources. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price NAICS: 236180 (Roofing Contractors) The small business standard is $15 M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(c) the Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.
