Replacement of 2 Geothermal Units at Malabar State Park Visitor's Center.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the replacement of two Geothermal Water Source Heat Pump units at the Malabar Farm State Park Visitor Center in Lucas, Ohio. The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing units and the installation of Water Furnace replacements that match existing configurations. The contractor is responsible for all associated sheet metal work for supply and return runs, electrical installation for line and low voltage, and the installation of new braided supply and return water lines. All work must be performed between 7am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, with a required completion date of October 30th. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by line item via the Ohio Buys portal. Evaluation includes specific preferences for Buy American, Buy Ohio, and certified Veteran-Friendly businesses, provided the cost of the products exceeds 50 percent of the total offered cost. Awardees must comply with the State of Ohio Standard Terms and Conditions, including prevailing wage requirements under R.C. Chapter 4115, the provision of a performance bond, and adherence to strict prohibitions against offshore services.
