Replacement Overhead Doors for Paramedic Services

The City of Cornwall is soliciting bids under solicitation number 26-T45 for the removal, disposal, and replacement of two industrial overhead doors at the Cornwall SD&G Paramedic Services facility located at 601 Campbell Street, Cornwall, Ontario. The project requires the supply of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for a complete installation, including operators, controls, safety devices, and programming. Suppliers may provide pricing for Option A, which specifies high-speed rubber overhead door systems with an operating speed of approximately 305 mm/sec and automatic obstruction reverse functionality, Option B as an industrial overhead door alternative, or both. The City intends to award only one option based on operational requirements and budget. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 11:00 a.m. on October 20, 2026. Submissions must include manufacturer product specification sheets, technical literature, and a bid deposit of at least 10 percent of the bid price. Evaluation is based on the supplier's ability and experience, capital and plant capacity, past performance on City projects, and after-sales support, with a preference for local employment. The City reserves the right to award the contract to a supplier other than the lowest bidder. Successful suppliers must provide insurance and WSIB documentation before commencing work and must guarantee products against defective materials or workmanship.
