This contract involves the replacement of sheet vinyl flooring in all six laundry rooms located within a building at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove the existing sheet coved vinyl, prepare the floors and base of the walls, and install new commercial sheet vinyl flooring, specifically Mannington Assurance II or an equivalent product. The contract is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 236220, with a performance period of 30 days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contract value is anticipated to be above the micro-purchase threshold but below $25,000. Offers were due by March 9, 2016, and questions could be submitted until March 5, 2016, with electronic and mailed submissions accepted. The contracting specialists for this project are Jeremy Wells and Kailey Good-Hallahan. The solicitation was cancelled per FAR 5.207(f) but may be resolicited later. The work location and conditions pose no special geographic or exclusionary requirements, making the project accessible to all qualifying small businesses.
