Tamaqua Area School District will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program until 9:00 A.M. prevailing time on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, at which time they will be opened. After bid opening the results will be available for viewing on the PennBid website. Successful bidder will be selected by Owner at a later date for the Storage Building project located at 598 Penn Street Tamaqua, PA 18252. The project will be constructed with the following Prime Contracts: General Construction and Electrical Construction.
All Contract Documents will be available online at no cost beginning at 9:00 A.M., Monday, July 13, 2026. Interested respondents may obtain Contract Documents containing detailed submission requirements by accessing the Penn Bid Program at www.pennbid.net.
Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond both in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract value shall be furnished by the successful bidders as detailed in Contract Documents.
This project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
