The Department of the Navy, through Navfacsyscom Atlantic, is seeking commercial vendors to provide Industrialized Construction solutions for the modernization of 11 Child Development Centers. This effort is being conducted via Other Transaction Authority under 10 U.S.C. 2808a to leverage advanced manufacturing methods such as volumetric modularity hybrid or Kit of Parts. The primary objectives are to reduce overall design and construction costs by at least 20 percent and accelerate delivery timelines by 30 percent or more compared to traditional construction methods. Proposed structures must be capable of being designed, reviewed, and approved within a 9 to 12 month timeframe while meeting or exceeding DoD Unified Facility Criteria and Whole Building Design Guide standards.
