Request for Information - Construction and Facilities Engineering Records Management Program— Administrative and CAD Support Services

Argonne National Laboratory operates an Infrastructure Document Control Center responsible for managing construction and facilities engineering records throughout the project's lifecycle, supporting various infrastructure, capital, maintenance, renovation, and engineering initiatives on its campus. Currently, the center lacks an in-house CAD designer or engineer, which limits its ability to update drawings, produce as-builts, and incorporate redlines as project closeouts and drawing update requests increase. To address this, ANL is considering outsourcing both the administrative records management and AutoCAD drawing update functions to a qualified external contractor. To explore this possibility, ANL has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry insights on available service providers, ascertain current best practices and capabilities, and guide the preparation of a future solicitation.
