The City of Las Vegas is seeking qualified licensed farmers market operators to express interest in establishing a seasonal farmers market at Goodman Plaza in downtown Las Vegas. The market is expected to commence around September 18, 2025, and will operate every other Thursday, with hours suggested from 2 to 6 p.m. from October through February, and extending to 2 to 8 p.m. in March. The city plans to support the market through promotional efforts on its channels and may include light entertainment during market hours. While the city will forgo space rental fees, there may be a vendor fee of up to 25%, and adjustments to the schedule or site plan could be made based on the Plaza’s event calendar. Interested vendors are invited to submit notices of interest and qualifications to Jasmine Freeman, the Cultural Affairs Manager, by July 15, 2025. This request for information is intended to gather input for a potential future project and does not guarantee contract awards or commitments. The project is part of the city’s broader efforts to enhance community engagement and support local vendors through seasonal markets. The process emphasizes inclusivity, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities upon request. The contract size is estimated between $50,000 and $200,000, and the city will coordinate promotional activities to maximize visibility for participating vendors. The initiative aligns with the city’s objectives to foster local economic activity and community interaction, with the possibility of future developments based on the responses received. Interested parties can find additional details and submit their notices via the provided contact information or through the city’s designated online portal.
