AFLCMC Armament Directorate Rapid Response (ADRR) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) for Innovative Execution
Solicitation # FA8682-24-C-S001
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate at Eglin Air Force Base is utilizing the Armament Directorate Rapid Response Commercial Solutions Opening for Innovative Execution as an umbrella competitive solicitation. Operating under 10 U.S.C. 3458 and DFARS Subpart 212.70, this vehicle is designed to rapidly acquire innovative commercial products, services, technologies, and methods to develop novel weapons capabilities. The CSO is open continuously and has been extended multiple times, with a current closing date of June 4, 2027. While the general CSO does not commit the government to any specific contract or funding, it establishes a framework where specific requirements are posted as Spirals, which may lead to FAR Part 12 contracts or Other Transactions agreements. The scope of work focuses on rapid response across various areas of interest, including the integration of WOSA domains with prime integrators and supply chain vendors for components such as seekers, warheads, and rocket motors. Key activities include prototyping, testing, and the application of digital acquisition practices and open system architectures. Past and current Spirals have addressed programs such as the ERAM program, Lugged Affordable Cruise Missile, Counter-Air Missile Program, and Family of Affordable Mass Missiles. Proposals are evaluated based on technical merit, importance to agency programs, and funds availability. Awardees must be registered in SAM and the Wide Area Workflow system, with payments structured around a schedule of milestones.
