The procurement includes rigorous compliance mandates, such as Buy America certifications for steel and iron products exceeding 150,000 dollars, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation, and adherence to the Corrupt Practices Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Deliveries are designated for specific Metra Engineering Department facilities in Glenview and Chicago, with pricing required to include all freight, shipping, and handling costs. To be considered responsive, bidders must submit a signed contract signature page, a complete prime-subcontractor list, and bid on all requested items.
