The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Advanced Technology Branch, is requesting information on commercially available tactical communication devices specifically designed for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) hazardous device technicians. Submissions are due by July 10, 2012, and aim to support the Department of Homeland Security’s System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program. Follow-up communications may occur for further clarifications, but vendors are advised not to initiate follow-up inquiries through the Federal Business Opportunities posting agency. The contract and related documents are accessible through the SSC LANT e-commerce website, with points of technical and contractual contact provided for assistance.
