Request for Information (RFI) Innovative Approaches for Integrated Design and Construction Services SATOC

The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base is conducting market research via RFI-001-26-SATOC to identify innovative approaches for a future Single Award Task Order Contract. The objective is to establish an integrated design and construction framework for complex facility projects, encompassing up to 100 percent design services, including permits and Issued for Construction plans. The government seeks to eliminate traditional communication barriers between designers, builders, and the government to reduce costs and delays associated with design corrections. Technical requirements for these projects include adherence to Miami-Dade wind and weather standards, ICD 705/ICD 705-1 compliant secure spaces, BACnet compatible fire suppression systems, and Florida Common Plan Development environmental permitting. The government intends to compete this contract among 8(a) firms, with a strong preference for those offering integrated in-house design and construction capabilities or joint ventures between similarly situated 8(a) construction companies and A&E firms. Interested parties must submit a response of no more than six pages by September 8, 2026, at 0630 CDT.
