GTrans is in process of preparing and issuing a bid for a bus tire lease contract. The purpose of this RFI is to determine the currently available tire specifications that will safely support each of GTrans’ various types of buses. This RFI is intended to discover all available options, responses at a minimum should include tire specification that can be reviewed by GTrans and bus manufacturers.Vendors are to submit applicable tire specification sheet(s) that they believe can safely support GTrans’ buses identified in Section 2. As part of the submittal, Vendors must clearly identify which bus fleet type(s) the tire can be applied. If one tire specification sheet can be applied for multiple buses, then all applicable bus fleet types must be addressed.
