Request for Information: UGA Termite Services

This Request for Information (RFI or Sourcing Event) is being issued to solicit information from interested suppliers. The State Entity will use the information generated by this RFI in conjunction with other information available to determine the solution that is in the best interests of the State Entity to fulfill this need. The RFI method is not a competitive solicitation method and, as a result, does not satisfy the requirement for competitive bidding. The RFI method is no more than an information gathering tool and such information gathered may or may not be used by the State Entity to develop a competitive solicitation.  Suppliers are not required to respond to an RFI and a supplier¿s failure to respond to an RFI will not prohibit the supplier¿s participation in any competitive solicitation that may result from the RFI. However, suppliers are strongly encouraged to respond as this is a great way to ensure the State Entity is aware of the suppliers¿ available goods and services. The University of Georgia Facilities Management Division (Using Agency) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The University System of Georgia (Owner) is soliciting information from Qualified Firms interested in and capable of providing termite services on the campus of The University of Georgia at Athens, GA. Project Description FMD seeks comprehensive inspection, foundation treatment, and follow-up services for Chicopee 1, Building #0101: ¿ Total Square Footage: 253,250 SF ¿ Usable Square Footage: 235,411 SF ¿ Structure Square Footage: 17,839 SF ¿ Construction Type: Wood frame with brick; siding is not wood (Permanent)   Please see the attached Request for Qualifications in the buyer attachment section.
