Full Description

The Plan should create a roadmap for community-wide coastal resilience, with in-depth considerations for sea level rise, storm surge / storm tide pathway projections, and erosion at multiple time intervals (2035, 2050, and 2100). For our critical infrastructure, plans and infrastructure that can be adapted over time to outlast 2100 would also be beneficial to include century to century longevity for coastal resilience

Solicitation # BD-26-1573-DPW00-DPW01-134456
The Town of Provincetown is seeking qualified developers for the design, construction, and development of mixed-income ownership housing on two town-owned parcels located at 26 Shank Painter Road and 15 Browne Street. The project aims to create a variety of affordability levels ranging from 80% to 200% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The selected developer will be responsible for all construction, development, and management, with a requirement to complete the project within three years of executing the Purchase and Sales Agreement. The development must adhere to the Shank Painter Road Form-Based Code Zoning District, Tier 1, and prioritize sustainability, energy efficiency, and native landscaping. Proposals are due by November 30, 2026, and will be evaluated based on a two-phase process. The first phase consists of minimum threshold criteria, including at least five years of housing development experience, a track record of two similar projects, and the ability to begin permitting within 60 days of the agreement. The Town will select the most advantageous proposal based on community needs rather than solely on the highest score or price. Developers must accept the premises in as-is condition and maintain comprehensive general liability insurance throughout the term of the agreement. Payment will be issued monthly based on the proportion of work completed relative to the total scope.
