Request for Qualifications - Campus Improvements

Ethos Classical Charter School desires to retain the services of a professional General Contractor to manage the campus improvements at 2575 Dodson Dr, East Point, GA 30344. The hard cost of the project should not exceed $1,250,000.00 inclusive of including all General Contractor fees, insurance, and payment and performance bonds. To qualify for consideration, a firm must be prepared to provide the expertise, resources and personnel experience in project planning, cost management, project control, pre-construction and construction techniques, value-engineering analysis, scheduling and quality assurance throughout the planning and construction phases of the project. The services to be performed by the General Contractor will have as their objective efficient, economical, and timely delivery of the project by managing the construction of the project within the time and cost limitations and within established quality requirements. The services will be performed during the pre-construction phase and construction phase including work with the school in project planning, arrangement of proposal packages, proposal and award of the trade contracts and management of construction until occupancy is achieved. The General Contractor must provide qualifications that demonstrate their ability, through successful completion of comparable projects, to perform a project of this scope and under a fast-track timeline. The General Contractor will be expected to provide a Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for review and approval prior to the start of construction.
