Contract GS-08P-14-JC-C-0012 was awarded under competitive procedures after the exclusion of sources as a HUBZone set-aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-3. The basis for selection was that the proposal offered the best value to the Government. The scope of the contract award is to build-out 8,518 square feet of space in the J. Will Robinson Federal Building in Provo, Utah. The build-out includes most of the first floor and part of the second floor. This remodel is required to move the Social Security Administration into the building. The renovation will include constructing new walls; new paint and carpet; new ceiling grid and light fixtures; modifications to the electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems; modifications to the fire systems; metal stud wall construction; gypsum wall board; casework; plastic laminate counters; transaction windows; windows; data outlet/cabling; a new ceiling system; agency security requirements; and other items described in the project scope of work.
