The City of Calabasas Public Works Department is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish an on-call list of licensed general engineering and general building contractors capable of providing prompt response services for maintenance and repair of city assets and infrastructure. These assets include streets, parks, various concrete and storm drain infrastructure, traffic hardware, vehicles, and municipal buildings with systems such as roofing, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing, and fire protection. The solicitation, identified as number 2026-09 and posted in April 2026, invites qualified contractors to submit their statements of qualifications by the May 20, 2026 deadline. The City resides in California, and the contracted work will be performed within the state. Interested firms are expected to have appropriate licenses for general engineering and general building construction to support a range of repair and maintenance activities. The senior civil engineer serves as the primary contact for this solicitation. The RFQ aims to streamline and expedite the City's ability to address smaller infrastructure and facility needs quickly, supporting public safety and asset longevity without waiting for lengthy project schedules. This pre-qualified on-call contractor list will enhance the City's operational readiness to maintain and repair critical infrastructure and municipal buildings efficiently across Calabasas.
