Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Medical Supply Program

The City of Greater Sudbury has issued Request for Quotation C11-41 for a Medical Supply Program to support its Paramedic Services. The contract seeks a supplier to provide a comprehensive range of medical-grade products on an as-needed basis, including airway management, cardiac monitoring, trauma care, intravenous supplies, and personal protective equipment. The agreement is set for a five-year term from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2031. All deliverables must adhere to strict medical-grade standards, including ISO, ASTM, IEC, and CSA, and must comply with the Food and Drugs Act and Medical Devices Regulations. Suppliers are required to ensure full lot and batch traceability on all units and documentation, with a minimum product shelf-life of 12 months. Eligible bidders must be Non-US Suppliers and possess at least five years of experience managing medical supply programs for emergency services. The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest total contract price, though the City may apply a 10 percent price preference for Non-US goods during evaluation. Mandatory requirements include a Health and Safety Management System compliant with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, a WSIB certificate of clearance, and specific insurance coverage, including 5 million dollars in Commercial General Liability and 2 million dollars in Automobile liability.
