Request for Quotes (Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Washers & Dryers)

The City of Rosenberg is seeking competitive quotes under solicitation 2027-17QQ for the procurement of two new PPE washers and two new PPE dryers for the Rosenberg Fire Department. All equipment must be NFPA compliant, interdependently listed and certified, and provided as new units, as used or reconditioned items are strictly prohibited. The washers must feature a minimum drum volume of 4 cubic feet, an extraction spin not exceeding 100G force, and a 6 kW electric heat element to maintain water at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The dryers must be constructed of 12-gauge steel with powder coat paint, include a fan with a minimum of 800 CFM, a high temperature cut off at 120 degrees, and the ability to increase ambient temperature by 20 degrees or more. A minimum five-year comprehensive warranty covering all electronic motors and parts is required. The equipment is to be delivered to Fire Station No. 1 and Fire Station No. 3 in Rosenberg, Texas. This request is not a formal solicitation, and a contract may or may not be formed based on the responses.
