DESC: This is a bulk fuel requirement for JP5, JP8, JA1, and F76 fuels in the Atlantic, Europe, and Mediterranean (AEM) regions. These requirements may increase during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to Basic Solicitation SP0600-10-R-0033. Overseas Bulk Procurement under the AEM Purchase Program for Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, specification MIL-DTL-16884L, dated October 23, 2006, quantity 61,500,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b, Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP5), NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624U, dated January 5, 2004, quantity 19,740,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1d; Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JA1), NSN: 9130-00-753-5026, product must conform to Defense Standard 91-91/Issue 6/Amendment 1, dated August 25, 2008, quantity 265,715,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i; and Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133F, dated April 11, 2008, quantity 248,787,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i. The delivery period for the above items under Purchase Programs 1.1b, 1.1d, and 1.1i is from July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011, plus a 30-day carry-over period. This solicitation will be available only on the World Wide Web at FedBizOps website, http://www.fbo.gov, and the DESC website, http://www.desc.dla.mil, on or about November 24, 2009. Please be advised that a hard copy of the solicitation will not be available. If you intend to submit an offer, you are requested to return a completed and signed Offeror Submission Package to the DESC Bid Custodian before the closing date and time. E-mail offers are authorized via BulkFuelsBidCustodian@dla.mil. Facsimile offers are authorized via 703-767-0488. The items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
