Rescue 21 Coastal Sustainment

The Department of Homeland Security, through the U.S. Coast Guard C5I Division 3 in Portsmouth, Virginia, is awarding a five-year, sole-source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) for the sustainment of the Rescue 21 Coastal (R21-C) system. This mission-critical command, control, and direction-finding communications network supports 32 Coast Guard sectors in search and rescue operations. The contract, identified by solicitation number 70Z04426DCMPL0001, utilizes Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Time-and-Materials (T&M) task orders to provide operations, maintenance, and sustainment engineering.
