Solicitation SPE7M5-20-R-0007, issued by the DLA Land and Maritime, is a request for proposal for the procurement of four variable resistors under NSN 5905-01-188-8963. Due to the government's lack of complete and unrestrictive technical data, this acquisition is conducted under other than full and open competition per FAR 6.302(c)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), identifying Ward Leonard as the approved source for part number M/L23190.12. The requirement specifies a delivery timeline of 280 days to Puget Sound Naval Base in Bremerton, Washington, with shipping handled as FOB Origin and inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334416 and is unrestricted. While the primary quantity is four units, price breaks are requested for quantities ranging from two to ten. This solicitation utilizes the First Destination Transportation program to optimize shipping costs through government-arranged transportation. Award decisions will be based on a best-value determination considering price, delivery, past performance, and technical acceptability. Interested alternate sources may submit capability statements or proposals, provided they include a complete SAR package for evaluation.

DLA Land and Maritime, specifically the FMS Tactical LTC Team at DLA Weapons Support - Columbus, is conducting a sources-sought market survey for the procurement of Pressure Switches under NSN 5930-01-324-5328. The agency is seeking information from potential vendors regarding delivery timelines, quantity capabilities, and pricing structures to determine the feasibility of an Indefinite Delivery Contract with a proposed three-year base period and subsequent one-year option periods. The government is specifically looking for data on commercial availability and is requesting drawings or bills of materials to identify similarities between commercial and military equivalents. The current approved source for this item is Cameron Energy Services Corp, identified by CAGE code 05991 with multiple associated part numbers. Due to the AMC 3C designation, this part requires engineering source approval to maintain quality, as the approved sources retain essential technical data and manufacturing knowledge.
