RFB# 15 for Water Pressure and Storage System for Dixon Shooting Range

The Southwest Regional Recreation Authority is soliciting bids under IFB-128010 for the installation of a complete water storage and pressure system at the Dixon Shooting Range located at 418 Dixon Range Road, Clintwood, Virginia. The project requires a qualified contractor to furnish and install an 1,800-gallon direct-burial polyethylene cistern, a booster pump system such as the DAB Basybox Max, a concrete utility vault, and necessary electrical connections to an existing 200-amp single-phase service. The system must be designed to achieve a target pressure of 60 PSI and a demand of 42.5 GPM, with a design head of approximately 200 feet. While the contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, and testing, the Authority will handle excavation, backfill, and earth-moving activities. Proposals must be submitted as a lump-sum price and are due by September 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time via the eVA system or physical delivery. To be considered responsive, bidders must provide detailed contractor information, evidence of experience from the last five years with at least two references, a proposed project schedule, and a technical approach. All electrical work must be performed by Virginia-licensed personnel, and the contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty on workmanship and installation in addition to manufacturer warranties.
