This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gather detailed insights from vendors regarding cloud-based, real-time student engagement platforms that seamlessly integrate with the university's Learning Management System (LMS). The platform should support various interactive classroom activities such as polls, quizzes, discussions, and assignment deployment, while also enabling automatic attendance tracking and secure data management to protect user privacy. Additionally, the system should facilitate personalized content creation, including interactive textbooks and labs, and provide instructor dashboards for real-time monitoring of student success. The goal is to understand vendor capabilities, deployment options, pricing models, and best practices to inform potential future procurement processes. The RFI emphasizes the importance of evaluating vendor solutions across multiple dimensions, including technical features, equipment requirements, support services, and alignment with future technological trends. The project is targeted at all New York State counties, with a due date for responses set for August 19, 2024. The contract size is estimated between $500,000 and $2,000,000, and the solicitation is managed by SUNY, with primary contact Nina Anders. The information collected will assist the university in developing a comprehensive solicitation if it determines that proceeding with a bid is appropriate.
