RFI: Air Force Enterprise Rapid Operations Support (AEROS)

The Air Force Enterprise Rapid Operations Support (AEROS) effort is a planned initiative by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) to provide comprehensive functional and technical operations help desk services for the AFTRANS enterprise. The scope involves supporting a portfolio of both legacy and Next Generation modernized system applications to maintain critical command and control capabilities. This support is required on a 24/7/365 global tempo to serve a distributed user base, including centralized Primary Operations Centers and decentralized Regional Operations Divisions worldwide. Key responsibilities include high-severity triage, immediate escalation protocols across classified and unclassified networks, and the provision of subject matter experts capable of managing a blend of cloud-native services and Government-Off-The-Shelf software. The government intends to compete this requirement as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 541512. While currently in the Request for Information phase for market research, the anticipated solicitation is expected in the first quarter of FY2027, with an award target of September 2027 and a five-year term of performance. Contractor personnel will be required to maintain a minimum security clearance of Secret. The contractor will also be responsible for operational validation of system applications following software deployment and performing data testing to ensure accuracy according to government specifications. Detailed service level agreements, labor categories, and pricing ceilings will be provided in the final solicitation.
