This is a Request for Information (RFI), as defined in the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) FAR Subpart 15.101(c)to obtain information about capabilities and market information related to the services of interest for planning purposes. The RFI is regarding industry expertise to support the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) build and procurement of the Next Generation Transporter (NGT). The Government reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner if the Government determines appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a competitive solicitation. An interested party should avoid including any classified, business confidential, and/or proprietary information in its response. However, if an interested party must submit such information, the information must be clearly marked, and the interested party must provide sufficient justification as to why such information is business confidential and/or proprietary. The Government will review the information and safeguard it appropriately. Parties that respond will not be reimbursed or paid for the information submitted.
